Located on Main Street in old town Park City, inside the Meyer Gallery, the Moving Pictures Media Lounge is a place for movie directors, producers and executives to gather to do interviews with Moving Pictures as well as to meet with Film Office representatives to learn about the benefits of filming in Montana. The partnership will allow Montana to have a presence on Main Street, the heart of the festival, for nearly a week.

“Sundance attracts just the type of filmmakers, producers and directors we are looking to bring to Montana to get their pictures made," said Sten Iversen, Director of the Montana Film Office. "As one of the film industry's highest profile events, the festival brings thousands of decision makers to Park City and we will be there to invite them to Montana."

The Film Office will also have a presence at the Official Sundance Filmmaker Lodge, located in the Elks Building on Main Street, on Saturday, January 23; from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sundance Filmmakers can stop by and meet with representatives from the Film Office who can answer any question they may have about filming in Montana.

The Montana Film Office will also be co-hosting a private filmmaker reception on Sunday, January 24, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Meyer Gallery. Montana native and musician Stephanie Quayle will be on hand to entertain guests with her blend of Montana country music.

If interested in meeting with representatives from Montana or attending the Sunday evening reception, please contact Sten Iversen at siversen(at)mt(dot)gov or 406.841.2876.

The Montana Film Office was created in 1974 as a central information source for on-location filmmakers. For more information about the Montana Film Office or the filmmakers’ incentive package, Studio 406, visit www.montanafilm.com.
