FIDI Global Alliance Continues to Focus on Industry Excellence

FIDI Academy welcomes 100th Master in International Moving (MiM) Student

Brussels, Belgium February 15, 2009 -- For more than 20 years, the FIDI Academy has made it its mission to provide the highest level of training and instruction to its global membership of more than 500 member companies from around the world. FIDI and its affiliates, who make up the largest global alliance of independently quality audited international removal companies, strive to provide customers of intercontinental moving services with the highest and most consistent level of services worldwide. One aspect of achieving such a level of service is through the skills and techniques which are taught in the numerous FIDI Academy Seminars held around the globe each year.

Since its inception in 1988, more than 4,000 students have participated in FIDI Academy programs. A new milestone will be reached during the Master in International Moving (MiM) course in Zurich, Switzerland (Feb. 15-21). Eduardo Bassani of Metropolitan Transport S.A in São Paulo, Brazil became the 100th student to participate in this managerial level course. The Master in International Moving (MiM) is an intensive, weeklong, managerial train course focused on advancing critical skills sets for middle management who wish to enhance and fine tune their managerial proficiency

Focused on implementing techniques that allow students to become highly effective managers in the global household goods transportation industry, the MiM enhances these skills to assist the students to become increasingly effective in a broad range of managerial tasks, from financial and interpersonal to customer account management.
