ICQ recently opened its Application Programming Interface (API) to developers - setting the scene for a whole new array of plug-ins generated by 3rd party developers. With Open Xtraz, developers can create personalized web 2.0 content based plug-ins (like playlists, photos and games), which ICQ users can then download through the ICQ Contact List, and share with friends. The collaboration with SeeToo enhances the ICQ user experience by allowing users to share and simultaneously watch videos and is unique in that it takes advantage of the synchronistic nature of instant messaging.
SeeToo is creating a new category for watching and sharing video online - Instant Video Sharing. SeeToo's patent-pending technology eliminates the laborious uploading requirements of existing video sharing solutions.
